How do solar rooftop panels work?
A solar rooftop consists of solar inverter(s), module(s), and other electrical components like meters, cables, etc. Solar rooftop panel converts sunlight into direct current. This direct current is converted into an alternate current in the inverter. The amount of power generated is measured through the meter. If there is any excess electricity generation, it is exported to the National electricity grid, and the owner, if following regulatory policies, gets paid accordingly.
